Yes, only live a short time on the earth in our bodies but our spirits (the real part of us) are immortal. Make the best of your visit to a small planet but don't sweat the exit. Death has no power over us. Important to treat your fellow man well, it does count no matter what your religious beliefs are. And where better to discuss religious philosophy than a space alien based amateur radio board. LOL
Besides, if you can't trust spiritual advice from some guy on the radio, who can you trust...

Interesting fact from Wikipedia:
The phrase Obscuris vera involvens means "Truth is enveloped by obscurity". It is from Virgil's Aeneid (VI, 100).
It is also found on an engraving on the title page of Francis Bacon's Wisdom of the Ancients (1641 French edition).
The phrase is inscribed on Athena's shield and explains the imagery there: the sun (truth) enveloped in clouds (obscurity), but shining through.
