I have been speaking with Bill, N9EIV (Scottsdale ARC Board Member) regarding the future of Wires-X in the Valley. We are in agreement that we are lacking a Phoenix Valley-Wide coverage solution for Digital Fusion communications.
Bill is in the process of creating a room (Phoenix-MetroNet ?) that digitally connects Superstition ARC (Usery Pass 448.275) repeater, Scottsdale ARC (Shea 440.000) repeater, Phoenix-Matrix (Metro Center 445.250) Node and other participants. This is an exciting time and opportunity to promote Wires-X usability.
Please comment and let us know what your thoughts are on this. If your club or private repeater is interested in participating in this endeavor to make Yaesu Fusion a complete solution in the Valley, please comment and let us know.

This is an update on the now called Metro Phoenix AZ Fusion Group. Now that Superstition ARC has a mature Fusion repeater (with a great net) and it appears that Scottsdale ARC has dedicated a repeater to Fusion also. These and other repeaters and nodes have been spotted linked to the 28592 room. So when you Xmit to one you are heard on all and Rcv from all. You may also PDN to Room 28592 directly. Here are some regular links in the room:
