These are the FRS , MURS and GMRS frequencies that I have found in my research. This is a work in progress...
A radio needs Part 95 acceptance to transmit on FRS, GMRS, MURS. All Amateur Ham Radios are FCC Part 97 and/or Part 15 approved but NOT approved for transmitting on these Part 95 frequencies!
MRS = Multi-Use Radio Service - unlicensed, Part 95 operation.
FRS - Family Radio Service - unlicensed, Part 95 operation. Typical HTs are 500 mW.
GMRS = General Mobile Radio Service - 47 CFR Part 95, a separate GMRS FCC LICENSE REQUIRED ($85/five years)
*NEW Combined Frequencies, FCC rule changes effective September 28, 2017
MURS - max 2 watts
MUR2_1 151.820 NFN (11.25 kHz wide)
MUR2_2 151.880 NFN
MUR2_3 151.940 NFM
MUR2_4 154.570 FM (20.00 kHz wide)
MUR2_5 154.600 FM
FRS max 2 watt & GMRS max 5 watt
FGS5_1 462.5625
FGS5_2 462.5875
FGS5_3 462.6125
FGS5_4 462.6375
FGS5_5 462.6625
FGS5_6 462.6875
FGS5_7 462.7125
FRS & GMRS max 0.5 watt
FGS1_8 467.5625
FGS1_9 467.5875
FGS110 467.6125
FGS111 467.6375
FGS112 467.6625
FGS113 467.6875
FGS114 467.7125
FRS max 2 watt & GMRS max 50 watt
FG5015 462.550
FG5016 462.575
FG5017 462.600
FG5018 462.625
FG5019 462.650
FG5020 462.675 (emergency & traveler assistance, PL 141.3)
FG5021 462.700
FG5022 462.725
GMRS max 50 watt Repeater Inputs (GMRS LICENSE REQUIRED)
GR50R1 467.550
GR50R2 467.575
GR50R3 467.600
GR50R4 467.625
GR50R5 467.650
GR50E6 467.675 (emergency & traveler assistance, PL 141.3)
GR50R7 467.700
GR50R8 467.725
The frequency name is what I programmed in my radios ie. FGS110 = Family, General Service, 1 watt, channel 10. Another example is GR50R3 = General Radio, 50 watt, Repeater, channel 3.
